Nested Knowledge has partnered with Embase so users can integrate the most comprehensive database of medical articles and abstracts into the leading AI workflow for systematic review and literature reviews. There are a few places within the Nested Knowledge workflow where Embase has been integrated.
Literature Search #
To use, copy and paste the search query from Embase and click add. Embase searches can be added in conjunction with searches of other databases within the NK workflow. The records returned will be deduplicated and appear alongside records from other databases.
Screening #
Within subsequent modes (Screening, Tagging, etc.) you can view the bibliographic data for each record, and if imported from Embase, the Embase logo will appear in the upper right corner. If information is missing on a particular record but it has an Embase ID, you can synchronize with Embase to fill in the gaps, ensuring a complete record.
How to Enable Embase Integration #
In order to have access to the Embase search integration, navigate to organization management page and under the integrations tab, enter the API key provided by Elsevier.
