Ahead of ISPOR 2025, Nested Knowledge took a major step forward in ensuring our mission of making evidence smarter, more accessible, and more transparent with three strategic partnerships with some of the most forward-thinking organizations in the industry.

Curta

With a variety of expertise in Health Policy, Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Commercial Strategy, Curta exemplifies how expert teams can use modern platforms for seamless evidence generation. By adopting Nested Knowledge, Curta enhances its ability to produce comprehensive, dynamic insights that support their decision-making throughout the lifecycle of the product. Their integration of platform-based synthesis into strategic consulting workflows reflects the next evolution of evidence-based commercialization.

Envision

Our partnership with Envision Pharma Group has progressed to a fully integrated offering, combining the systematic capabilities of Nested Knowledge with the enterprise-grade infrastructure of the iEnvision platform. This integration enables users to track, manage, and communicate evidence across the lifecycle—linking literature synthesis, stakeholder communication, and evidence dissemination in a single, interoperable environment.

Cytel

Our newest collaboration with Cytel brings together LiveSLR®, Cytel’s dynamic evidence platform, with Nested Knowledge’s living systematic review and meta-analysis tools. This combined approach supports clients in generating and maintaining high-quality evidence for HEOR, RWE, and regulatory submissions—while ensuring methodological transparency and real-time accessibility.

“Cytel is excited to work with Nested Knowledge to ensure our clients can realize the advantages of our LiveSLR® and Nested Knowledge best-in-class offerings… Our customers can feel confident we’re employing the standard and get access to a set of differentiated deliverables to interact with their HEOR living evidence.”

“EnvisionOne provides a centralized, interactive platform that already supports multiple functional roles within pharma companies,” notes Nested Knowledge CEO Kevin Kallmes, “This environment is the perfect place to offer market-leading evidence synthesis technology so that users can access, extract, and synthesize information in real time as part of publication and evidence generation planning. Furthermore, our ongoing work with the Envision technical team promises further synergies and enhanced capabilities in the near future – stay tuned for additional developments on this front!”

The next thing we’ve thrilled to announce is the release of our latest feature: Smart MA Extraction. A welcome member of the Nested Knowledge family of A.I. tools

Smart MA Extraction

While there are improvements to be made, we wanted to give you all a chance to see the potential impact of the tool and how it can be of use.

A whole new tab in AutoLit, MA Extraction can be run automatically and produce a whole new set of extracted data from tables and figures within the included literature.

This power is also visible within Synthesis. You are able to really drill down and be specific in seeing the key interventions extracted from the data within tables and figures within the Nest.

This process unlocks a whole new world of possibilities when it comes to data extraction and it’s as easy as hitting a button and toggling what you want and what you don’t.

ISPOR 2025

There was lots of buzz around booth #1620. With a majority of our amazing team available to be in attendance, this was a huge step forward in spreading awareness for the cutting edge ability of NK.

Our Scientific Director, Ranita Tarchand gave a talk with some esteemed colleagues and thought leaders in the industry. During a forum titled “Leveraging Automated Tools for Literature Reviews in HEOR: Opportunities, Challenges, and Best Practices” – Ranita fostered dynamic discussion around the evolving role of automation in evidence synthesis for Health Technology Assessment (HTA) and Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR).

The session examined how artificial intelligence and automation are being used more and more to support key steps in the review process—including study screening, data extraction, and synthesis—while underscoring the ongoing need for human eyes and minds to ensure integrity. The conversation also delved into critical issues such as methodological integration, reproducibility, and building trust in automated approaches.

Participants shared forward-looking perspectives on how all of these tools may be more broadly adopted across HEOR and regulatory contexts, reflecting a shared thought that technology, when thoughtfully applied, can enhance—not replace—the standards of scientific excellence in evidence generation.

It was an amazing experience where we were able to meet and interact with so many of our customers. We can’t wait to attend the next ISPOR event!
